ReelMint vs Akool

Akool pricing, and what the same clip costs in ReelMint

Akool is an avatar-centred AI video suite: talking avatars, face swap, video translation and talking photos, with third-party text-to-video models billed from the same per-seat credit pool. Below: both tools' published prices, one clip costed the same way for each, and what each does after the video exists. Akool figures were read from its pricing page on 12 September 2026.

Clip cost = plan price ÷ credits it includes × credits one 10-second clip takes, on each tool's cheapest paid plan. Akool: Starter $12 ÷ 200 credits × 10 credits (the page states 200 credits = 20 Kling 3.0 videos; the clip length and resolution behind that are not shown). Akool's own Kling page quotes 25 credits per 5-second clip, which would make 10 seconds about $3.00. ReelMint: $29 ÷ 2,600 credits × 60 credits. Source for Akool: akool.com/pricing.

When Akool is the better pick

Teams whose main work is avatar, face-swap, lip-sync and translation jobs, especially long presenter videos, with generated footage as a side capability. Its per-minute avatar rates are low.

When ReelMint is

When the video is a means to a post. ReelMint prices each render before you click, lets you pick the model per job, and then publishes to TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X from the same screen, or hands the whole loop to a bot that posts every day. $29 buys about 43 ten-second clips a month.

Questions

Akool or ReelMint for face swap and talking photos?

Both have them. ReelMint prices each job on the button (face swap per 10-second piece, talking photo per second of audio) and posts the result to your channels; Akool's per-seat subscription suits a team doing avatar work all day, with translation and streaming avatars ReelMint does not have.

Is $0.60 per Kling video real?

It is the figure on Akool's Starter card, and the page does not say how long or what resolution that video is. Its model page quotes 25 credits per 5 seconds, which is $3.00 per 10 seconds at Starter rates. ReelMint's reference clip is about $0.67 with the exact number shown before you generate.

Does Akool post to social networks?

No. ReelMint publishes to TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and X from the same screen, schedules, or runs a daily bot.
