Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

ReelMint lets you generate videos and images with AI models operated by third-party providers and publish them to your own social accounts. This policy sets out what you may and may not create with the service. It applies to every prompt, scene script, uploaded asset, edit, generated output and published post, on every plan and on every ReelMint instance, including a private studio of your own on the Private Studio plan. Generated output is produced by those third-party models at your request, not by ReelMint: you decide what to ask for, you review everything before you keep or publish it, and it is your responsibility from the moment you ask for it (sections 7 and 8 of the Terms of Service).

2. Prohibited content

You may not use ReelMint to create, request, edit toward, store or distribute:

  • Sexual, nude or adult content of any kind — pornography, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive material, nudity or partial nudity, lingerie or "undressing" edits, "remove the clothes" or "see-through" requests on any picture, fetish or sexualized content, and any sexual depiction of a real person, whether photographic, AI-generated, animated, "artistic" or implied. There is no "NSFW mode" on any plan, including the Private Studio plan; none exists and none will be added. A provider's model letting such a request through does not make it allowed.
  • Deepfakes and face manipulation — content that impersonates a real person, uses a real person's face, body, voice or likeness without their documented consent, or presents a real person doing or saying something they did not do or say. Uploading a photo of someone you know and changing what they wear or do is included.
  • Content that sexualizes, endangers or exploits minors in any form, real or generated, drawn, "aged up", ambiguous or implied. This results in immediate, permanent termination and a report, with the account's records, to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or the authority our law names.
  • Harassment and hate — content that harasses, threatens, demeans, or promotes hatred or discrimination against any person or group.
  • Violence and harm — content that incites or glorifies violence, self-harm, terrorism, or cruelty.
  • Deception and fraud — scams, phishing material, fabricated news presented as real, or content designed to mislead about its origin.
  • Infringing content — material that violates another party's copyright, trademark, or publicity rights, including protected characters and branded assets you do not have rights to.
  • Illegal content — anything that violates applicable law where you are, where we are, or where you publish it, or the content policies of the platforms you publish to.

3. Who screens what, and what a screen means

  • ReelMint's own screen (regular plans). On every plan except the Private Studio plan, the text of a prompt bound for an image or video model is first sent to a third-party moderation service, which answers whether it may run; a flagged prompt is blocked before any model is called. It reads the prompt text only.
  • The model providers' own safety systems (every plan, every instance). Each AI provider runs its own safety and content systems over the prompt, the reference media and the output as part of producing a result. Those systems are built, operated and changed by the provider under its own policies. ReelMint does not configure them, cannot see how they decide, and cannot switch them on or off. They may refuse a harmless request (a swimsuit, a medical scene, a reference photo that reads as a real person) and they may let a prohibited one through. A refusal is the provider's decision, not ours, and not a defect of the service. A pass is not permission, not a review and not a sign that the content is allowed here.
  • Private studios: no ReelMint screen at all. On a private studio of your own (for example a workspace on minty.codeaeon.com), ReelMint runs no moderation screen in front of your prompts, and nobody at ReelMint looks at what you make there. The only automated check is the provider's. This policy applies there in full, you are the sole operator of everything generated there, and "nothing stopped me" is never a defence.
  • No human review before the fact. ReelMint is automated end to end. No member of staff reads prompts, looks at reference pictures or watches results before, during or after a generation, and we do not monitor accounts, libraries or studios. We act when something is reported to us, when a provider or a platform tells us, or when a lawful request names it.
  • What happens then. A breach may result in a blocked generation, removal of content, suspension or permanent termination of the account and of any private studio linked to it, with no refund of any credits, plan or purchase. Credits are not refunded for a generation blocked for prohibited content. We may preserve the prompt, the media and the account's records as evidence after you delete them, and hand them to the provider, the platform or the authorities. Where a minor is involved, a report is made and nothing is discussed.

4. Your responsibility

You are the author and the publisher of what you make here. By submitting a prompt or a picture you confirm that you are an adult; that you own or have permission to use everything you upload; that every real person shown in a picture or video you upload has consented to its use, including to the edit you are asking for; that what you are asking for is lawful in your country and in every country you will make it available in; and that you will follow the rules of every platform you publish it to. ReelMint is not able to verify any of this and does not. Whatever a model returns, keeping it, downloading it, bringing it to another studio or posting it is your decision alone.

5. Reporting

To report content you believe violates this policy, contact [email protected] or use the contact form, with a link to the reel page or post, or the ReelMint reference in the file's metadata. Reports are reviewed promptly. A person depicted without consent may report on their own behalf and we act on such reports first.

6. Relationship to the Terms of Service

This policy is part of the Terms of Service. Where the two overlap, the stricter rule applies.
