Terms of Service

1. About ReelMint

ReelMint is an AI video and image creation studio at reel-mint.com, an independently operated product. Registered users generate short-form videos and images from text prompts using third-party AI models, edit them in the studio, and publish or schedule them to their own connected social-media accounts. ReelMint is sold as paid subscription plans and one-time credit packs (see section 7). These Terms govern your use of the service. By creating an account or using ReelMint, you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts & eligibility

  • You must provide a valid email address to register. Signup is self-serve: we email you a verification code, and confirming it activates your account. No administrator approval is required.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • You must be old enough to form a binding contract and to use each connected platform under that platform's terms.
  • We may suspend, decline, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or a connected platform's policies.

3. Acceptable use

By using ReelMint, you agree to:

  • Connect only social-media accounts that you own or are explicitly authorized to publish on behalf of.
  • Upload and publish only content you have the right to use.
  • Comply with each connected platform's terms of service, content policy, and all applicable laws.
  • Not use ReelMint for spam, automated misuse, harassment, copyright infringement, or any content prohibited by the connected platforms.
  • Not generate or publish sexually explicit, sexually suggestive, or pornographic content of any kind (including AI-generated), deepfakes or face-manipulation of real people, or content that is hateful, violent, deceptive, or illegal — see the Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these Terms. Generation prompts are automatically screened by content moderation.

4. Third-party platforms

ReelMint publishes content on your behalf to:

  • X (Twitter) — subject to the X Developer Agreement and Policy.
  • YouTube — subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the YouTube API Services Terms of Service.
  • Facebook — subject to the Meta Platform Terms.
  • Instagram — subject to the Meta Platform Terms and Instagram Platform Policy.
  • TikTok — subject to the TikTok for Developers Terms of Service.

By connecting an account you also agree to be bound by that platform's terms. ReelMint is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these platforms.

5. YouTube-specific terms

By using ReelMint's YouTube features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. ReelMint's use of YouTube API Services is also described in our Privacy Policy, and is subject to the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke ReelMint's access to your Google data at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

6. Content ownership

ReelMint claims no ownership over the content you upload or publish. You retain all rights to your content and are solely responsible for it.

7. Plans, credits & payment

ReelMint is a paid service. We sell recurring subscription plans(billed monthly or yearly) and one-time credit packs. Current prices, credit allowances and plan features are listed on our plans page and on the pricing section of our home page. We may change prices, and will give notice of a change before it applies to your next renewal.

  • Credits are the usage unit you spend to run an AI generation. The cost of each action is shown in the studio before you run it. Subscription credits are granted monthly and do not roll over — this is true on yearly plans too, where you pay twelve months up front but receive the same monthly allowance each month rather than the full year's credits at once. Credits bought in a one-time pack do not expire and are spent only after your subscription credits.
  • Merchant of Record. Card payments are processed by Creem, and cryptocurrency payments by NOWPayments. Your receipt is issued by that provider and its descriptor — not "ReelMint" — is what appears on your statement.
  • Renewal & cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account; cancellation stops future renewals and you keep your remaining credits until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. In short: credits already spent on a generation are non-refundable, and a failed video generation is not charged.
  • Automated bots. Credits spent by Bot Studio — creating a bot, planning its story, and every scheduled run it performs — are non-refundable in full, including when a later step of a run fails. A single run performs several independently paid steps (writing, generation, and any upscale, soundtrack, dub, subtitles, caption or hashtag work you enabled), and each is consumed as it is performed. Because a bot spends on a timer without you present, the cost of one firing and its projected daily and monthly cost are shown to you before you save it; that quote is where the spend is agreed. Pausing or deleting a bot stops future runs and does not reverse runs already performed. See the Refund Policy for the full terms.
  • Taxes. Prices are exclusive of VAT, GST and sales tax where applicable; the Merchant of Record calculates and collects any tax due at checkout.

8. Credentials & security

OAuth tokens issued by connected platforms are stored encrypted at rest and are used only to publish on your behalf. You are responsible for keeping your account password secure. If you suspect your account has been compromised, change your password and disconnect affected accounts immediately.

9. Service availability

ReelMint is provided on an as-is basis with no uptime guarantee. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Connected platforms may also change their APIs in ways that temporarily or permanently affect specific features.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

REELMINT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL REELMINT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF REELMINT.

12. Termination

You may stop using ReelMint and delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. Connected platforms may independently revoke ReelMint's authorization at any time, which would prevent further use of the affected features until re-authorization.

13. Changes to these terms

We will reflect substantive changes on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of ReelMint after a change constitutes acceptance.
