Refund Policy

1. Overview

ReelMint, an independently operated product at reel-mint.com, is a digital software-as-a-service platform. We sell recurring subscription plans and one-time credit top-up packs. "Credits" are a digital, consumable usage unit that customers spend to run AI generations (for example, a video clip, an image, a voice line, or an AI writing action). Because our products are digital services delivered and consumed instantly, this policy explains when charges are and are not refundable.

2. Billing & Merchant of Record

Card payments for ReelMint (card, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay) are processed by Creem, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Cryptocurrency payments are processed by NOWPayments. Your receipt and billing statement are issued by the relevant provider, and the charge on your statement will show that provider's descriptor rather than "ReelMint". Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method by that provider.

3. Consumed credits are non-refundable

Credits that have been used to run a generation or an AI action are non-refundable. Each generation immediately incurs a real cost from our upstream AI providers, so once a credit is spent it cannot be returned. By purchasing credits and starting a generation, you acknowledge that the digital service is delivered immediately and that consumed credits are not eligible for a refund.

4. You are not charged for a failed video generation

You only pay for what is successfully produced. If a video generation fails, credits for that generation are not consumed — they are automatically returned to your balance. In a multi-scene project, only the scenes that render successfully are charged; scenes that fail are not. No refund request is required.

This section covers the video generation itself. Credits spent on the AI steps around it — writing, planning, enhancement, translation, voices, music and upscaling — are consumed when those steps are performed, whatever happens next. Section 5 explains how that applies to automated bot runs.

5. Automated bots and multi-step runs are non-refundable

Credits spent by Bot Studio — creating a bot, planning its story, and every scheduled run it performs — are non-refundable in full, including when a later step of a run does not complete.

A bot run is not a single action. One firing can write a story bible and its episode outlines, create characters and portraits, write an idea and a scene script, generate the video, upscale it, compose a soundtrack, translate and burn subtitles, voice a cast, write captions and research hashtags. Each of those is a separate paid step performed by a separate provider, and each is consumed at the moment it is performed. If a step later in that sequence fails, the steps already completed have already cost us real money and are not returned.

Section 4 above applies to the video generation itself within a run. It does not extend to the preparation, planning, writing, enhancement, upscaling, scoring, dubbing, subtitling or publishing steps around it.

We do not refund automated runs in any of the following cases:

  • a run that produces a video you do not like, or that does not match the brief;
  • a run that completes but whose post is rejected, removed or limited by a social platform;
  • a scheduled slot that is missed, skipped or fires late;
  • an optional step — upscale, soundtrack, dub, subtitles, hashtags — that fails or is skipped, whether or not the reel is published without it;
  • a bot that you configured in a way you later did not intend, including a schedule, scene count, clip length or model that costs more than expected;
  • a bot left running and posting after you stopped wanting it to.

Because a bot spends credits on a timer without you present, the studio shows you the full cost of one firing and its extrapolated daily and monthly cost before you save it. That quote is the point at which the spend is agreed. Pausing or deleting a bot stops future runs; it does not reverse runs already performed.

6. Subscriptions

  • Subscription plans renew automatically each billing period (monthly or yearly) and include a recurring allowance of credits.
  • You may cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current period, and you keep access to your remaining plan credits until the end of the paid period.
  • Subscription fees for a period that has already begun are non-refundable, whether or not the included credits were used.

7. Top-up (credit) packs

One-time credit packs are non-refundable once any credit from the pack has been used, since the digital service has begun. Unused packs may be considered for a refund only as described in Section 7.

8. Exceptions & statutory rights

We will review a refund request in the following cases:

  • Duplicate or erroneous charges — a payment taken in error, or charged more than once for the same purchase, will be refunded in full.
  • Unused purchases — a subscription or credit pack where no credits have been used at all, requested within 14 days of purchase, may be refunded at our discretion.
  • Statutory consumer rights — nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable refund or withdrawal rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your country or region. Where you have a statutory right of withdrawal for digital content, note that by starting a generation you request immediate performance of the service and consent to the loss of that withdrawal right for the credits consumed.

9. Cryptocurrency payments

Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible on the blockchain. Where a refund is approved for a crypto purchase, it is returned as credits to your ReelMint balance or, where required, as crypto to a wallet you provide, less any unavoidable network fees. Fluctuations in cryptocurrency value between purchase and refund are not reimbursed.

10. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] from the address on your account with your order/receipt details and the reason for the request. We aim to respond within 5 business days. For card payments you may also contact Creem, our Merchant of Record, directly via the link on your emailed receipt.

11. Chargebacks

If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — we will work to resolve it quickly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your account pending review.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time and will reflect substantive changes on this page with a revised date. Continued use of ReelMint after a change constitutes acceptance.
