Character Swap finds the people in a video and lets you recast up to four of them at once, two ways. Swap the faces: only each cast person's face and hair change, while clothes, body, scene and motion stay. Swap the whole character: each cast person becomes the chosen character completely — face, hair, build and clothes — doing exactly the same moves to the same music on the same background. Both run on Wan 3.0: the video is cut into pieces of up to 15 seconds, each piece is re-filmed from the original and the cast reference, and the pieces are joined with the original sound. Longer clips take longer and cost more.
Pick the video
Studio, then Character Swap. Choose a library video up to 120 seconds and 50 MB.
Find the people
Click Find the people. The studio samples frames and lists everyone it found, ranked by how much of the video they are in, with a crop of each.
Choose what changes
Swap the faces, or swap the whole character. The price is the same either way.
Cast the people
For each person you want to change, choose a character from your characters or any photo in your library. For a whole-character swap, a reference that shows the character head to toe in the outfit you want gives the model the most to copy. Up to four people per swap; anyone left out stays as they are.
Swap and wait
The button shows the credit cost. The video is cut into pieces, each piece is edited once with every cast face at the same time, the pieces are joined and the original sound is put back. The result is a new Library post.

Does the music and the movement stay in a character swap?
Yes. The model is told to keep every movement, the timing, the camera and the background, and the original sound is put back under the new picture at the end.
Why is the price per second?
Each piece of up to 15 seconds is a Wan 3.0 job priced on the piece's seconds plus the seconds it films, so the total grows with the length of the clip.
