One credit is $0.004. A 10-second clip runs from about 45 credits on the cheapest video models to several hundred on premium ones. Here is the arithmetic for plans, packs and bots.
Credits are the only currency in ReelMint. Every generation has a price in credits that is derived from the provider's real cost, and it is shown before you click. This page turns those numbers into things you would actually make.
One credit is $0.004
A thousand credits is $4 of generation. Plans include a monthly allowance; packs never expire and are spent after the monthly allowance, so nothing is wasted.
A short clip
On the cheaper video models a 10-second 720p clip is 45 to 90 credits. On mid-priced models 150 to 250. On the premium ones 500 and up. The Models page lists every one.
A multi-scene film
A 40-second film in four scenes costs four clips plus scene writing (a few credits per scene), subtitles and, if you choose, an upscale pass and a soundtrack. The studio shows the whole figure before you generate.
A daily bot
One firing of a 30-second bot with music and upscale on a mid-priced model is around 900 to 1,400 credits. Thirty days of that is 27,000 to 42,000 credits, which is why the Studio plan exists.
What 1,000 credits buys
Roughly: 15 to 20 short clips on cheap models, or 5 to 6 on mid-priced ones, or one 40-second film with extras, or one day of a daily bot.
Questions
What happens if a generation fails?
A provider rejection is refunded in full. You are charged only for what was actually produced.
Do subscription credits roll over?
No. The monthly allowance resets on your billing date. Pack credits never expire.
Is there a free way to try?
Yes. 150 credits on email verification, no card, spendable on the cheaper models at 720p with a watermark.
